Have you been snacking from the Halloween candy?  And need to get away from that not quite full bag you bought to use tomorrow?  Come out on a recreational ride.   Depending on the route there will be a short stretch of traffic, maybe one gentle hill and fast downhill,  There will be a stop for lunch or snacks. Some mapping systems insist on calling Log Boom Park a location in "Seattle", but it is just off Hwy 522 in Kenmore.  If it looks like showers or rain on the radar on the weather map,  the leader will still be at the start and make the decision at that time.  However if there is ice/snow/slippery conditions on roads and/or road shoulders in Edmonds/Lynnwood/Lake Forest Park the leader will not drive to the start and the ride is canceled.

UPDATE - CONSTRUCTION DETOUR: For those driving to Log Boom Park there is construction on 61st and blockage on 65th that will force you to turn south on 68th (Juanita) and then immeadiately turn right on NE 175th going west to get into the park with your car. For those travelling by bicycle to the park the Burke-Gilman is open.

Hi, I'm new and am going to try to make this ride right after an appointment at 0900 in Bothell. This would be my first Cascade bike event. How fun!
