Join us for a ride from Martha Lake Airport Park on a 29 mile route at a Leisurely pace, 10-12 MPH.
We'll make our way to Everett via the Interurban and Lowell Riverfront Trails, with some street riding. Then more street riding in lovely neighborhoods as we roll past a variety of interesting architecture. From the sturdy and charming Donovan homes of the 1920s to grand mansions, and everything in between, there's a lot to see. We'll stop at Legion Park for a stroll through the Everett Arboretum and Gardens, then have our picnic lunch across the street at the overlook, with views of Port Gardner Bay and many islands.
Let's meet at Martha Lake Airport Park and please be ready to ride at 10AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).
Portapotty is available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms at mile 9. We’ll also stop for our garden walk and picnic lunch at mile 16, and restrooms are available there.
Bring your sack lunch/snacks and plenty of water. Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
DIRECTIONS TO START: From I-5 just north of Lynnwood, take the 164th St SW exit and turn onto 164th heading east towards Mill Creek. Turn left (north) at the 2nd traffic light after the freeway, at Meadow Road. Turn right at 146th St SW, and the park will be on your right just past 4th Ave W.

NEW START TIME: 9am!
Weather is forecast to have a heat index of 90+ on Friday afternoon, so I'm moving the start time to 9am. Bring extra water.
Ride Cancelled
This ride is canceled due to poor air quality. One station in Everett is already reporting an AQI of 151 this morning , and it will only get worse. Stay safe, and I hope we'll ride together another day.
