It’s FALL … time to start riding for pastries! Come join us in our ongoing quest to find the best pastries on the Puget Sound.

Route Description:  This week, we will ride out of Lower Woodland Park Playfields (meeting near the restrooms). We will meander throughout north Seattle taking in views and climbing the inevitable hills. Near the end of the route we take a short break at Sod House Bakery in the Ravenna neighborhood before returning back to the ride start.  Route will be finalized later this week and posted in the comments.

Pace: Please note, we will ride within the posted pace on the flats with an equivalent effort up hills. If you plan to ride faster or slower, the ride will become self-paced so that the group has an appropriate regrouping time.

Regroups/Mechanicals: This will be a social ride with waits at the top of hills and all critical turns along with photo op stops along the way. We will not stop for mechanical issues. Please come prepared the necessary equipment you need to take care of flats or other problems on your own. Please print a cue sheet from the route link in the event that you get separated from the group.

Rest Stops: There are restrooms at the start. We will also be making a 20-30 minute stop at Sod House Bakery for a baked treat.

Requirements: Please make sure to arrive at least 20 minutes before the ride start so you can get prepared to roll out at the posted time, sign a waiver, and hear the ride briefing. As is required with all Cascade rides, please ensure you wear a helmet and come prepared with gear that is comfortable and appropriate for the distance/elevation.

RSVP: Please RSVP for the ride either here or on Meetup if you have an account, so we can plan for the appropriate number of Ride Leaders. Meetup is a great place for ride discussions and sharing photos after the ride.

Cancellation Policy: In the event of  a weather cancellation, a notice will be posted in the comments on this page at least two hours before the ride and the ride leaders will not be at the ride start location.

Start Location Notes: Bathrooms at start.
