Join us for a ride around Redmond on a 15.3-mile route at Leisurely pace (10-12mph)!
This is a beginner-friendly, no-drop ride going through Marymoor Park, north through Redmond, up and down Education Hill, and back. The route is mostly flat aside from one long (but not too steep) hill, which everyone can climb at their own pace and the group will wait at the top.
Let's meet towards the middle of the Lake Sammamish Trail parking lot (directly across the trail from Whole Foods). Please be ready to ride at 6:15pm. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
Note that Google Maps routing to the parking lot is a bit confused by the construction. The simplest route is to turn onto NE 70th St (by the Brown Bear Car Wash), then turn left just after the trail crossing.

Restrooms are available at the start, and there are a couple of places we can stop if needed. Water may be available at the start but please bring some with you.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.
Note: If there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions (including unsafe air quality) or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!

Notes about tonight's ride
Looks like it will be pretty warm today, so bring plenty of water. (It may be possible to fill bottles at Whole Foods but I haven't checked recently.)
The ride should finish before sunset, but if you have lights, please bring them just in case, especially if you're riding to and from the start.
