Today’s ride will keep us mostly on the Cedar River Trail, on an out-and-back with a stop at Foley's Produce. We will be using a cross walk at 216th to cross Maple Valley Highway and will use the shoulder for a short distance going against traffic. This is a great time to double-dip in life, getting some exercise while shopping! Bring your bike bags for transporting what you buy home. Its a slight 2% up on the way and down hill all the way back. It's a great way to build those leg muscles.
Let's meet at Renton Community Center in Renton, near the restrooms, and please be ready to ride at 10:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
Restrooms are available at the ride start location.
Weather: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
Mechanical issues: You should be prepared to fix a flat tire, with tools, tubes and the ability to change the tire yourself. Please have a backup plan in case you are unable finish the ride or have mechanical issues.
We hope you can join us!

Ride Cancelled
Unfortunately I will be cancelling the ride due to work OT mandates. My apologies to everyone. I am not sick but had no other options.
Also a heads up I probably won’t be scheduling anymore rides until the OT mandate is over.
Have a great summer and I will try to schedule some in the future
