Join us for a ride from Blyth Park in Bothell on a 20 mile route at Moderate (14-16 MPH)!
Let's take a break from work or our busy day for a short and hilly ride.
You can also park at Wayne Golf Course (1/4 mile away) and ride through the trail tunnel and across the bridge to Blyth Park.
Note that through July 30, there is a day camp at Blyth Park, and parking may be in demand, so consider riding from home or Wayne Golf Course.
Let's meet at Blyth Park in Bothell and please be ready to ride at 11:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently at the top of hills and major turns.
We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).
Restrooms are available at the start. We will not stop along the way for restrooms/water, so bring two full water bottles.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!

ride duration
Hi Mark
I need to be home by 2PM tomorrow. Do you think we will be back to the start by 1:30 or so?
Thanks!
Ride time
My guess is the ride should be about 2 hrs 20 mins, depending on breaks, so we should be done by 1:30pm. This route doesn't have any shortcuts other then skipping Juanita Drive or Homes Point.
