Note that this ride is starting at 9:00 AM.
Join us for a ride from Tolt River-John MacDonald Park on a 19.3 mile route at Steady pace (12-14 MPH)!
This ride is ideal for beginners! It's not very hilly, and it takes place on mostly quiet rural roads.
Let's meet at Tolt River-John MacDonald Park at 8:45 for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 9:00 AM.
Please note: If you are not present for the full safety briefing, including COVID-19-specific portion, you will not be allowed to ride with us, so please be on time.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently.
Restrooms are available at the start, but there is no water, so please fill your water bottles before the ride. We’ll also stop at Jubilee Farm, towards the end of the ride, for the ride leader's wife's homemade cookies, and a restroom break.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!

Thanks.
Updates to number of participants
Hi, there will be a total of four people under my registration.
It's an update of prior message.
Thank you.
All riders must register for the ride.
All the members of your group must be independently registered.
Participants may create an account on cascade.org without paying for a membership, so there is no reason to avoid doing this.
So please create accounts for each rider, and ensure that all of them are correctly registered prior to the start of the ride.
If you have any questions about this, you may email me directly (the email address is listed at the top of this ride's page).
Thanks,
Shaun

More pictures!
Hi!
I'm usually taking more scenery pictures than people pictures. I forgot who it was that brought their daughter, but I didn't feel comfortable adding a close-up pic of her riding without your permission (let me know and I'll forward the pic to you).
