Join us for a ride from Snohomish on a 19.6 mile route at steady 12-14 mph!

This scenic ride through the Snohomish river valley is mostly flat and uses trails and roads. With one small climb, this is a great ride for someone who wants to start hill climbing. I'm looking forward to making new friends who love cycling. Registration on cascade website is required and includes a waiver.

Let's meet at the Bicycle Centres of Snohomish at 11:45 am for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 12:00 pm

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally.

We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are not available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at miles 7.2 & 18.4.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!

Comments

It is going to be VERY HOT on Tuesday, and this ride has one climb.

Make sure you come fully hydrated, and make sure you bring plenty of water to drink during the ride!

We will take it easy and enjoy the breeze from the river. Hope you can join me
