Join us for a ride from East Lake Sammamish Trailhead on a 21 mile route at a leisurely pace of 10-12 MPH!
Get on your bike and enjoy the paved and scenic East Lake Sammamish Trail with views of the water as we cycle from Redmond to Issaquah. A section of the trail is closed for development so we will head to the road above when necessary. Take a 1/2 hour break at the Issaquah Coffee Company. The return route will be on the East Lake Sammamish Pkwy.
Let's meet at the East Lake Sammamish Trailhead (Behind Whole Foods in Redmond at 8:40 AM for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 9:00 AM.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally. Speed limits on the multi-use trail will be maintained.
A sani-can is available at the start near the parking lot. Water and restroom are available at the Whole Foods. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Issaquah Coffee Company at mile 10.6.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please bring a full water bottle and carry on your bike. Helmets are required!
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
