Join us for a ride from Log Boom Park on a 35 mile route at a steady (12-14 mph) pace!
After a brief warmup on the BG trail, we'll do our longest climb to Alderwood Manor. Then it's rolling terrain with neighborhoods, parks, trails, through Mill Creek with a return to the trail through the North Creek area.
Let's meet at the Log Boom Park at 9:45 for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 10 am. If you can, park on the street outside the park, then meet near the restrooms.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently, at hill tops and turns.
Restrooms are available at the start. We will stop along the way for stop for coffee/snacks/lunch in Mill Creek Town Center (Starbucks, Central Market, etc.) at mile 15. Restrooms and water will also be available at Martha Lake Park (mile 9.5) and Miner's Corner (mile 24.5.)
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
