  • Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
  • Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
  • A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

We'll ride around the southern part of Lake Washington and across Mercer Island. We'll meet at the Newport Hills Park and Ride (405- exit 9).  Quick stop at Gene Coulon Park (Mile 3.8) for a bathroom break.  There will be a quick coffee stop at Starbucks on Mercer Island for coffee..

If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

Please arrive 20 minutes prior to the ride start to ready your bike and hear the safety briefing.  If wet weather, please be courteous to other riders by having fenders on your bike (preferably extra long with a buddy/mud flap).

There is no water at the start and limited opportunities for hand washing on the route. I would highly recommend all riders carry hand sanitizer or wipes at all times and use as appropriate.  Thanks for your cooperation.
