Join us for a ride from Tolt River-John MacDonald Park on a 19.3 mile route at Steady pace (12-14 MPH)!
This ride is ideal for beginners! It's not very hilly, and it takes place on mostly quiet rural roads.
Let's meet at Tolt River-John MacDonald Park at 9:45 for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 10:00.
Please note: If you are not present for the full safety briefing, including COVID-19-specific portion, you will not be allowed to ride with us, so please be on time.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently.
Restrooms are available at the start, but there is no water, so please fill your water bottles before the ride. We’ll also stop at Jubilee Farm, towards the end of the ride, for the Shaun's wife's homemade cookies, and a restroom break.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
