Join us for a ride from East Lake Sammamish Trailhead in Redmond on a 21 mile route at 12-14 MPH!

Come see the beauty of the East Lake Sammamish corridor as we travel from Redmond to Issaquah on the East Lake Sammamish Trail and make our return trip via East Lake Sammamish Parkway after a stop at Issaquah Coffee Company. PLEASE NOTE: There is a 2.5 mile section of gravel (well packed, similar to SVT) during which we may decrease our speed to 10-12 MPH. Parts of this trail will be closed starting June 1, 2021 for improvements so take this chance to see it "as is" (which is still quite nice!).

Let's meet at the East Lake Sammamish Trailhead (behind Whole Foods in Redmond) at 9:15 AM for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 9:30 AM. We will stop mid-way in Issaquah for a coffee break and restrooms are available in Gilman Village.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together.  Speed limits on the multi-use path will be maintained.

Restrooms and water are not available at the start, but close by at Whole Foods. We will stop for coffee/snacks/water/restrooms at Issaquah Coffee Company at mile 10.6.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!
