Face coverings (for mouth and nose) are required when the group makes extended stops. Face coverings are recommended for the duration of the ride. Please bring personal hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and tissues for use at rest stops.
We will observe current social distancing guidelines when off the bike, and strive to maintain at least 10-12ft separation between riders when on the bike.
Join us for a ride from Juanita Beach Park on a 24.6 mile route at leisurely pace of 10-12 MPH!
The scenic ride starts out going south on Kirkland roads to the 520 Bike Trail. Turn west and ride uphill to the top. Some prior hill conditioning is advised. Head toward Main St and meander south to Enatai Beach Park. Picnic tables and restrooms are available for our use. If it's a nice day plan on bringing a snack/picnic food and taking a rest break. In the event of cold weather, plan on a stop at Starbucks on the way back.
Let's meet at the Juanita Beach Park at 9:40 am for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 10:00 am. We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup occasionally.
Restrooms and free parking are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at Enatai Beach Park/Mile 13.3. Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Helmets are required. Carry snack, water and credit card for coffee.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!

Map
I tried the map and cue sheet link and it worked for me.
I just tried, and I'm also
I just tried, and I'm also getting a 404 error.
@Gail -- if you try accessing the link from a browser where you're not logged in to Ride With GPS, does it still work for you?
Map
Laura - I clicked on the link on the Cascade website and it worked. I'm not sure why others are getting an error response. Maybe I need to redo the map/cue sheet.
Map problem
The map link should be fixed, and accessible to all.
Picnic
We'll be stopping at Enatai Beach Park for a light lunch break. I plan on bringing some food in a backpack.
