Join us for a ride from Enatai Beach Park on a 24.5 mile route at a Steady pace (12-14 mph).
We'll loop south via Lake Washington Boulevard to Renton, back north on Lake Washington Boulevard in Seattle to the I-90 Bridge, and across Mercer Island. A handful of climbs, but no super long ascents.
Let's meet at the Enatai Beach Park at 09:45 for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 10:00 AM.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and we will regroup frequently. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 mph).
Restrooms ARE available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at miles 13-14, either Seward Park or near Cafe Vita. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Cafe Vita in the Lakewood neighborhood, approximately at mile 15. Also, restrooms on Mercer Island may be open,
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!

South Lake Washington Loop.
Looking Forward to my 2nd Free Group Ride using this Route. Have done it A NUMBER of Times as a Solo Cyclist, but this will be my 2nd Time as a Ride Leader. Keep an Eye on the Weather Forecast. Will Plan to Ride if it is Overcast, Occasional Showers or Light Drizzle, but Steady Rain in the Forecast will lead to Cancellation. For those who don't like Hillclimbs, this is a Good Ride to get some Practice. I am not a "Strong Climber" myself, so I am quite patient if you are not one to "Jackrabbit" up the Hills. Thanks.
South Lake Washington Loop Ride - Looks to be a Marvelous Day!
Good Morning, All.
Rain or Shower Forecast - Less than 5%! Temps - Low 50's! Dress in for a Brisk Temperature, but Hopefully No Rain!!! Looking Forward to seeing everyone at Enatai Beach Park! Thanks
