This is a mentored ride for Casey Hawley!
Please note: During COVID-19 restrictions, all Free Group Rides are limited in the number of allowed participants. Registration for the ride (using the red “Register Now” button above) is REQUIRED to participate. If you decide not to ride, please unregister for this ride so that an additional spot will be made available to another.
Face coverings (for mouth and nose) are required when the group makes extended stops. Face coverings are recommended for the duration of the ride. Please bring personal hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and tissues for use at rest stops.
We will observe current social distancing guidelines when off the bike, and strive to maintain at least 10-12ft separation between riders when on the bike.
Join us for a beautiful ride in the Snoqualmie Valley, starting at Tolt River-John MacDonald Park in Carnation! This is a 19.3 mile route at Steady pace (12-14 MPH).
This ride is ideal for beginners! It's not very hilly, and it takes place on mostly quiet rural roads.
Let's meet at Tolt River-John MacDonald Park at 9:45 AM for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 10:00 AM.
Please note: If you are not present for the full safety briefing, including COVID-19-specific portion, you will not be allowed to ride with us, so please be on time.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently.
There is a restroom available at the start, but there may not be water, so fill your water bottles before you get to the start. If necessary, there are restrooms in Fall City, around mile 8.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!

Ride?
I'm hoping to find someone who could give me a ride to the ride. I live in the Central District of Seattle. I'm fully vaccinated as of a couple of months ago and will wear a mask in your vehicle. I can chip in for gas $. My phone number is 206-790-0163.
Thanks for considering,
Amy

You might have to join the Cascade Bicycle Club Members group to view them:

Let me know if you can't get to them!
Thanks,
