Face coverings (for mouth and nose) are required when the group makes extended stops. Face coverings are recommended for the duration of the ride. Please bring personal hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and tissues for use at rest stops.

We will observe current social distancing guidelines when off the bike, and strive to maintain at least 10-12ft separation between riders when on the bike.

Join us for a ride from Old Renton City Hall to Maple Valley on a 22 mile route at a steady pace, 10 to 12 mph!

We will follow the Cedar River Trail toward Maple Valley for 11 miles, and return via the scenic Maxwell and Jones Roads.

Let's meet at the Old Renton City Hall at 10:45 for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 11:00 am.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. We will also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum.   Please note the speed limit on the trail is 10 mph until we reach the end of the Renton city limits.  Thereafter the limit is 15 mph

Restrooms and water are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms at mile 5 at Ron Regis Park (water not available, so be sure to bring your water bottle).

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!
