Registration for the ride (using the red “Register Now” button above) is REQUIRED to participate. If you decide not to ride, please unregister for this ride so that an additional spot will be made available to another.
Face coverings (for mouth and nose) are required when the group makes extended stops. Face coverings are recommended for the duration of the ride. Please bring personal hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes and tissues for use at rest stops.
We will observe current social distancing guidelines when off the bike, and strive to maintain at least 10-12ft separation between riders when on the bike.
Join us for a ride from Lower Woodland Park (5201 Green Lake Way N.) on a 17 mile route at 10-12mph (on the flat terrain)
Let's meet at the Lower Woodland Park athletic fields at 10:00 for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 10:30.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together and regroup at the tops of hills. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).
Restrooms available at the start. Note that the restrooms at the meeting point, between soccer field #2 and the softball fields, are closed due to vandalism. There are several port-a-potties near soccer field #7, across from the pitch and putt. There is no potable water at the start location.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!

Ride Cancelled
Too much risk of icy patches in shady areas even later this morning so I'm canceling. Sorry about that.
