KEEPING RIDERS SAFE

- Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
- If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
- Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
- Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
- A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

A scenic and easy mid-morning jaunt on the Burke-Gilman Trail and Seattle streets from Cascade Bicycle Club to Shilshole Bay and Golden Gardens. On the way back we will cross the Locks and ride through Fishermen's Terminal to the Canal Trail and across the Fremont Bridge. Dip your front wheel in Lake Washington at the start, and in Puget Sound at the turn-around.
No formal food stop, so bring a snack. Water and bathrooms inside the Cascade Bicycle Club building, and at mid-ride when we stop at the Locks.

Ice or snow also will cancel the ride. If conditions meet weather cancellation criteria, I will post a ride-cancelled note 2 hours prior in the Comments block, below.
