Gas Works to 520 Bridge Loop
KEEPING RIDERS SAFE

- Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
- If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
- Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
- Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
- A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

A mid-week ride departing from Gas Works Park for a loop around the north end of Lake Washington by way of the SR520 Bridge Trail. We'll stop in Kirkland for a coffee break. Get some hill work on Juanita Dr. and on a couple of short rises on the SR520 trail. Enjoy the beautiful view from the 520 bridge overlook at Evergreen Point and views of the mountains from the new bridge trail.

Bring water, a snack, some money for coffee at the rest break, and all necessary tools & tubes in case they are needed. Online preregistration is appreciated. A link to the map and cue on RideswithGPS is posted below.
If a ride is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will be posted here in the comment section by 7:00 a.m. and ride leaders will not be at the start.

The forecast for tomorrow's weather is predicted to be hotter than today, so just a reminder to use sunscreen and plenty of water with electrolytes of your choice on tomorrow's ride.
