A gentle and mostly flat social ramble in the rural Snoqualmie River Valley, with a short stop for refreshment at Starbucks in Carnation on the way back.
Porta-pot (quality always in question) but no water at the start, and at Chinook Bend Park/Mile 11.4. Restroom and water on the return leg at Carnation/Mile 22.7. A RideWithGPS route map and cue sheet are at the Link, below. If you need a cue sheet, please print one. Electric-assist bikes welcome.
It can be a long way to Fall City. Please plan your trip to be ready to ride 10 minutes before start time so we can do the safety briefing and get on the road. Bring ID; spare tube, tools, pump, patch kit, and skills to fix flats; and a phone and a plan for rescue if your bike fails. If roads are wet, roostertails from bare tires are a safety issue for other riders. Fenders with long mudflaps show that you care.
Please RSVP by clicking on the red "Register Now" button under the ride title above. This will save us time at the start.
The listed phone will not be answered on the morning of the ride and its voicemail will not be checked. If weather conditions meet the "Showers cancel" criterion, I will post a ride-cancelled note in Comments, below, at least 2 hours prior and not go to the start. Please check here before leaving for the ride.

I-90 constriction just east of Preston
From WSDOT. This work is east of Exit 22/Preston, so should not affect eastbound travel to the exit.
Drivers headed westbound on I-90 this weekend should plan ahead for delays just west of North Bend due to a lane closure on the Raging River Bridge. Because of the wet weather, our contractor crews were unable to restripe the roadway following deck repair work this past week. Drivers will likely experience travel delays through the area, especially on Sunday afternoon.
