Renton, Maxwell, Ravensdale, Witte and Jones Road

Restrooms in the Community Center and lots of parking.  A RideWith GPS route link is below.  If you want a cue sheet, please print one.  

Please arrive early enough to unload your bike etc. and be prepared to leave at 10am sharp after the SMART briefing.

We will travel out the Cedar River Trail and turn off for a ramble on Maxwell and some other quiet country roads.  We will find ourselves out in Ravensdale for a restroom stop then turn back towards the Lake Wilderness shopping area for a stop at Starbucks.  From there we ride down Witte and back to the Cedar River Trail. On the way back there is a little trek across some grass and a gravel path to put us up on the Maple Valley Highway for a very brief time before turning right onto Jones Road.  This is an excellent set of rollers and sprinting will be encouraged with a regroup at the end before heading back to the trail.  There are hills on this ride but nothing alarming and we will do them at our own pace, regrouping at the top.

Please RSVP by clicking on the red "Register Now" button under the ride title above, then checking the box for "Waiver Signature" and filling in the contact information.  This will save us time at the start.  Note that the on-line RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account, which is easy to set up, but if you don't want one of those just come anyway and sign the hard-copy attendance/hold harmless sheet. 

The listed phone will not be answered on the morning of the ride.  If weather conditions meet the "Showers cancel" criterion, I will post a ride-cancelled note in Comments, below, at least 2 hours prior and not go to the start.  If the weather looks iffy, please check here before leaving for the ride.
