Chasing Daylight on the North End
KEEPING RIDERS SAFE

- Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
- If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
- Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
- Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
- A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Daylight is short but there is no reason to stay indoors. For a couple of more weeks, we will be riding , starting in the daylight, but ending at dusk.
Riders should be able to sustain an upper steady pace (12-14 on the flat)or ride independently. Please come with the skills and equipment to change a flat; the group does not stop for mechanicals. Print contact information clearly on the waiver so that we can reach you in case you become separated.
Please check here for any updates about the ride as we will be pre-riding just one day ahead of time. If you are able we would love an RSVP on meetup. There are no rest stops during the ride, or restrooms/water at the start. Please plan ahead.
THIS RIDE WILL FINISH AT DUSK OR AFTER DARK! A GOOD HEADLIGHT AND TAILLIGHT REQUIRED!
FOR RAINY CONDITIONS, FENDERS REQUIRED. Please come with long fenders including a buddy flap if the roads are wet. Without them, you will be asked to ride in the back of the group.

Change in route
I did not have a chance to re-do the route on Ride with GPS. We will not turn left on Springhettii (off of Broadway) but will continue up Broadway to Connelley, turn left, then turn right on Elliott, then when it meets up with Broadway, turn left on Broadway. I discovered this afternoon that the loop we were going to do, doesn't exist anywhere but on the map of Ride with GPS. :) See you there.
