Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Join me Sunday for a relaxed ride from Kent to Auburn, for coffee. We'll start at Van Doren's Landing Park; once the site of a riverboat landing and ferry, Van Doren's Landing is not far from another concentration of commerce, Amazon's Kent Fulfillment Center. We'll follow the Green River upstream to Auburn, and stop at Zola's Cafe for coffee and a snack. Coming back, we'll take a combination of bike lanes, quiet roads, and paved trails. We'll keep a Steady pace, 12-14 mph assuming flat ground and no wind. Steady ran will cancel the ride, and if that cancellation is made prior to 7:00 AM Sunday, I won't be at the ride start. Please bring a safe helmet, a serviceable bike, and supplies and tools to handle routine mechanical issues. Registering online will simplify our ride start, and I ask that you plan to show up about 20 minutes early so that we can get everyone unpacked and ready to roll on time. Our run of beautiful weather is forecast to continue, so come out and play on Sunday!
