Join me for a Stay on Your Bike ride from Kent to Downtown Renton.  If you haven't ridden with us before, this is your opportunity to learn a new route and continue riding throughout the year for health, fitness or just fun! It is also an opportunity to meet cycling friends, fine tune your riding skills, and feel confident riding in a group.  Our ride will start from Hogan Park at Russell Road, and we'll hold a Steady (12-14 mph) pace as we follow the Green River Trail up to Tukwila.  We'll ride through Downtown Renton to Common Ground Coffee and Cupcakes, and stop for a bit to socialize, enjoy a coffee drink, and have a snack.  Back on the road, we'll retrace our steps back to Hogan Park, and finish after 22 mellow miles.  Steady rain wil cancel the ride; if I post a weather cancellation prior to 7:00 AM on Sunday, I will not be at the ride start.

Please make sure that you have a helmet, a safe and serviceable bike, and supplies to handle routine mechanical issues such as flat tires.  Plan to get to the ride start at least 20 minutes prior to 9:00 so we can get started as scheduled.  If you are new to group rides or have other questions about cycling, I'll be at Hogan Park by around 8:30, and I love to chat!  I ask that you register online; it'll streamline our ride start, and it helps planning if I know how big a group we'll have.  See you Sunday!
