A scenic route that features a 1 mile climb (196th) and a 2 mile climb (Tiger Mountain) and rollers through bucolic territory. Jones Road gives you the impression that you're in Kentucky. Sweeney Road has sheep, alpacas, ducks, cows (all within fences) well not the ducks. There is a brief rest stop at Lake Francis Park (mile 14.4). Tiger Mountain is one of the classic climbs in King County. We'll regroup at the Fire Station at the top. Then the descent has graceful curves through gorgeous woodland. There is a good Wood Fire Pizza option next to the convenience store at the lunch stop (mile 22.6). Bring pocket snacks and/or money for food/coffee purchase if desired.
Water: Ron Regis Park at the start has a sanican but no water, so bring full water bottles.
Restrooms: Start, Lake Francis Park (mile 14.4), Lunch (mile 22.6).
Please arrive and be ready by 9:50 am so we can review the route and SMART safety briefing before departing at 10am. If I need to cancel the ride due to inclement weather I will do so before 8:00 am on ride day in the comments section below and then will not be at the start. Rain during the ride could alter the route.
If you have a Cascade account you can register online by selecting the Register button at the top of this posting. You may also sign in at the ride start. If your plans change you do not need to unregister. Please print your own cue sheet from the link provided below.
NOTE: If you want to contact me or have questions about this ride I prefer text at 509-203-5772 rather than using the comments section. You can also email me at the address above but I check email less frequently.

Think Before Climb on This Mountain
This mountain is more rough and tough for every individual those who try to climb on it would face a dangerous situation in life. According to the report of CNN in 2009, one man was brutally injured when he tried to climb on this mountain. I would suggest you all should think before accepting this challenge.
