Join us for a group ride from Red Brick Road Park on a 20.5 mile route at steady pace 10-12 MPH!

This fun route takes low traffic Woodinville roads to the Redmond Town Center for a coffee break at Starbucks. Plan on socializing for 30 minutes and bring cash or credit card to purchase food/drink. A cable lock will come in handy to secure your bike. We will return on the scenic Sammamish River Trail. Let's meet at the Red Brick Road Park in Bothell at 10:40 AM for our pre-ride safety briefing, with a departure at 11 AM.

This is a mostly flat - paved trail ride where we will regroup occasionally along the route if separated by traffic lights.

Restrooms are available at the start in the old Wayne Golf Course parking lot (sanican). We will stop along the way for restrooms/water in 1/4 mile at Blythe Park. We’ll also stop for coffee/snacks at Starbucks at the 1/2 way point (10 miles).

You are encouraged to pre-register by clicking the red "Register Now" button above. There is no need to unregister if you decide not to ride.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Everyone is required to wear a helmet. Please bring snacks and a full water bottle.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.

We hope you can join us!

Comments

There were 3 Sammamish River Trail closures near Redmond due to flooding when I rode the route on Sunday. The river has widened and spilled over onto the trail in low areas. There are detours in place or we can take Willows Road as a partial alternate route.
