Time for an Eastside Ramble. We will start at Newport Hills Park and Ride and head over to Mercer Island. We will stop at the top of Mercer Island for a quick break at mile 14 and then head through Beaux Arts and Medina before hitting the 520 bike trail to Kirkland. We will stop for coffee at Starbucks at Carillon Point (mile 26) before climbing our way though Bellevue and back to the start.
Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page. Then put a checkmark in the waiver release box, complete the Emergency Contact Number, and click on Save. By doing this you will save time at the ride start. Note that this RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account. If you don't have one and/or don't want one, come to the ride anyway and just sign the waiver/attendee sheet. All are welcome.
If weather conditions meet the cancel criteria on the day of the ride, I will post a ride-canceled notice in Comments, below, two hours prior. Ice or snow also cancel. Please check here before leaving for the ride.
Please arrive 20 minutes prior to the ride start to ready your bike and hear the safety briefing. If wet weather, please be courteous to other riders by having fenders on your bike (preferably extra long with a buddy/mud flap).
