We will leave out of the Sumner Fred Meyer east parking lot next to the garden center. We will have some flat riding up to Auburn and over to Flaming Geyser Park. From there we make the one big climb up to the Enumclaw plateau where we traverse rolling country roads with great views of Mt Rainier (weather permitting). Did I mention there are farms with lots of cows so there can be the sweet smell of farm land.

One big climb of about 2 miles and some rolling hills.

Pace: 14 - 16 mph on the flats with no wind.

2 Rest Stops are planned: Flaming Geyser (approx. 21 mile mark) and Farmers Park (approx. 39 mile mark). If needed a third quick stop will be added on the way back in Auburn.

There is a porti-potti/restroom at Flaming Geyser but the only water may come if the restroom is open. Plan accordingly. The second rest stop has water/ice/snacks for purchase (Texaco foodmart).

Bring all needed items for the ride: tubes, snacks, hydration.

Please arrive early enough to prepare your bike, listen to the ride briefing and roll out at 8:30.

RSVP on Cascade Meetup is not required but would be appreciated.
