Let's ride a high road (Redmond Ridge southbound) and then a low road (W Snoqualmie Valley Road northbound), and--of course--mix in some climbing. We'll start at Woodinville Sports Fields and go over Hollywood Hill, up to Redmond Ridge, down to the Valley, along the floodplain, and up Broadway. Some hills and assorted rollers. Riders climb and descend at their own pace. Please plan your travel to be ready to ride 15 minutes before start time so we can have the safety talk and get on the road.
There's nowhere to buy food on this route, so bring fuel for the distance to eat as we go. Restrooms and water are available at the start/Mile Zero and at Redmond Ridge Park/Mile 15. There's a porta-pot at Bob Herman Wildlife Park/Mile 39.7.
A RideWithGPS route map with cue sheet is at the link. If you want a cue sheet, please print it. Bring ID; spare tube, tools, patch kit, pump, and skills to fix flats; and a phone and a plan for rescue if your bike fails. If roads are wet, roostertails from bare tires are a safety issue for other riders. Fenders with long mudflaps show that you care and don't want to have to ride off the back of the group.
Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page. This will save time at the ride start.
The listed phone number won't be answered on the morning of the ride and its voicemail won't be checked. If weather conditions meet the Showers Cancel criteria, I will post a ride-cancelled notice in Comments, below, two hours prior and not go to the start. Please check here before leaving for the ride.
