Interested in learning about Cascade's High Performance Cycling (HPC) Team?

HPC is intended for cyclists who like to ride fast, hard, far, and climb hills in a non-racing environment. The team is dedicated to supporting strong cyclists who want to improve their skills and fitness while practicing safe group cycling techniques. Although we are not a racing team, some teammates are also members of WSBA racing teams, participate in ultra and randonneuring events, or compete in multisport events. Cascade's High Performance Cycling Team is perfect fit for:

-Riders who are developing fitness and skills and want to ride with folks who are faster and more experienced

-Strong riders who are looking for compatible cycling buddies who regularly do long, scenic, challenging rides

-Racers who want to diversify and ride with folks who regularly do long, scenic, challenging rides

Meet us at promptly at 9:00 AM at the west side of the I-90 bike tunnel in Sam Smith Park for a short discussion about the team.

This ride goes at a "social pace" under 18mph on the flats. Some riders may start with us then break off to do additional miles or climbing at a faster pace. We will observe trail speed limits when on multi-purpose trails.

This ride will include some pacelining. Please let the ride leader know if you are new to group riding.

Mileage: 36.1
Climbing: 1,790

Hi David,

Are we doing the 44mile ride?  Or is it the full 62 mile ride that is in the listing?

-Monica

Hi Monica:

We are doing the 44+ mile ride. There might be some slight variations in the route in Issaquah and getting on Old Redmond Rd from Marymoor.

Dress warmly!

I love cycling. Cycling is not only a sport but also very good for health. It is a very reliable solution for stress and tiredness. Also, it is eco-friendly too. It helps to reduce the rate of environmental pollution.   read this post here
