A rural ramble from just south of Issaquah into southern King County, passing through Ravensdale, Kanaskat, Cumberland, and Covington. Many rollers and short climbs. Longer climbs out of the Cedar River crossing at Landsburg and out of the Green River valley on 218th. Riders climb and descend at their own pace. Please be ready to ride by 10 minutes before to start time so we can get on the road.
Pit toilets but no water at the start. Restrooms and water at Ravensdale Park/Mile 16, Nolte State Park/Mile 29, and Covington Starbucks/Mile 49. There'll be a quick "eat it and beat it" stop at the Starbucks in Covington.
A RideWithGPS route map with cue sheet is at the link. If you want a cue sheet, please print it. Bring spare tube, tools, patch kit, pump, and skills to fix flats, and have a phone and a plan for rescue if your bike fails. If roads are wet, roostertails from bare tires are a safety issue for other riders. Fenders with long mudflaps show that you care.
Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page. By doing this you will save time at the ride start. NOTE: I will close registrations at 7 AM on ride day so I can print the waiver. If you find registrations closed, come to the start and sign in there.
Directions to the start: From I-90 Exit 17 in Issaquah, turn right/south on Front Street and go 2.3 miles to Squak Valley Park on the right. Look for the pit toilet building and the colorful play structure.
The listed phone number won't be answered on the morning of the ride and the voicemail will not be checked. If the weather meets the showers-cancel threshold, I will post a cancellation notice in the Comments block below at least 2 hours prior and not go to the start.
