Please come and join me this Wednesday morning for a bike ride with a coffee stop. We will start in the town of Sumner from the Fred Meyer parking lot and head north to Kent. Our stop will be at Kent Station at Panera Bread. After enjoying a coffee and pastry we will head back to Sumner.
Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the ride start at 9 AM so you can get your bike and yourself ready and hear the S.M.A.R.T. talk (safety briefing).
Restrooms are at the start inside the Fred Meyer store.
New riders are welcome, but please review link below. Riders should be able to maintain the pace and know how to change a flat tire (and carry the equipment to do so).
Come prepared to fix flats and have a plan for dealing with mechanical issues. Generally the group will not wait for flats/mechanical issues so make sure you know the route or have printed a CUE sheet.
Please register for the ride by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page, click the waiver release box, complete the Emergency Contact Number, and click on Save. By doing this you will save time at the ride start. If you are unable to attend you do not need to "un-register."

Route Update due to Green River Road Closure
Due to Green River Road closure from August 20-September 13, I had to update our route. We will avoid Green River Road and get bonus miles. Total miles will now be 41.
Original Route
We may be able to use the original route, there is a side road we may use. I will check it out on Monday when I am back from riding RSVP this weekend.
Air Quality
Please check ride on Wednesday morning at 7 am, 2 hours before ride. If the AQ is bad the ride will be canceled.
RIDE IS CANCELED!
The air quality is hazardous. I am canceling today’s ride.
