Ride Description: Come join me for a wonderful spin (STEADY 12 - 14 MPH) throught the Tulalip, Warm Beach and Silvana returning to Jennings Park. The route does have some hills and we will regather at the top to keep the group together.
We will meet at Jennings Park in Marysville. The parking lot is at the intersection of 64th St NE/WA-528 and 53rd Dr NE.
Route description: . At the start there is a restroom. We will leave Marysville and ride through the Tulalip onto Warm Beach and the beautiful vistas of the Puget Sound. We then saunter into lush farmland and return via the Arlington Airport back to the start.
The route is 40.3miles with about 1,900 ft elevation (per RWGPS). Restrooms at the start and at mile 15.5. Food stop at mile 32.4.
Cue-sheets are not provided; please print your copy.
Expectations (important, please read!): Arrive at least 20 minutes before the start of the ride to check off your name or sign the waiver and be part of the safety briefing. S.M.A.R.T. riding is the standard and all riders are held accountable for doing their best to adhere to these; we want to be awesome representatives of the bike community in Snohomish County and be safe! Front and rear lights are highly recommended! Riders should be able to maintain the posted pace. We regroup consistently. Riders have to be independent when they have a flat and/or mechanical. Please print a cue sheet in case you get separated from the group and bring a charged cellphone if possible. All riders are responsible to promote a great experience by having a positive attitude, having fenders when the roads are wet or rain is in the forecast, enjoying the beauty we are surrounded by and just by having fun! Steady rain or other unsafe conditions cancels the ride. If the ride is canceled, it will be posted by 6:30 am in the comment section. In that case the ride leaders will not be at the start.
