Join the MUMPS (Monday Unemployed Merry Pedalers) for a ride up north from the Woodinville sports fields parking lot to Everett and Mukilteo, with a lunch stop at the Red Cup Cafe (mile 28, in Mukilteo). This ride is mostly on back roads, except for the south Everett section on city streets.
Restrooms are available at the start, at mile 15.7, and at the coffee/lunch stop.
Riders should be at the start 15 minutes early to ready their bikes and hear the safety/route talk, for a prompt 10am rollout.
The route/cue sheet is at the link below. Please download or print it if you want it during the ride.
We will regroup as necessary, but it would be a good idea to take my phone number so you can contact me if you have a problem while off the back.
Fenders are highly recommended and appreciated if the roads are wet. You can still ride with us without them, but if you are spraying those behind you we'll ask you to ride at the back. Also be sure to consider the potential for sun and heat, and bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
Please be prepared to take care of flats or minor mechanicals, and have a way to get yourself home or back to start in case you are unable to complete the ride. We'll stop briefly to help if you need it.
Please register in advance on this website to save time at the start. (You need a CBC account, but you don't have to be a member to get one. Or you can register manually at the start.) You don't have to un-register if you can't make the ride.
In case of cancellation the ride leader will not be at the start and a cancellation notice will be posted in COMMENTS below at least two hours prior to start. Please check for potential cancellation prior to heading to the ride.

Assuming the hot forecast for Monday holds true, I plan to ride a 32.6 mile route to get us out of the sun sooner. It still has some hills - Hollywood at the beginning and Old Redmond Road mid-ride. We'll stop at the Starbucks at Carillon Point (south Kirkland) at mile 22.5 for iced coffee or whatever.
