Fun Moderate Rain Ride, On and Off Road, North Seattle

- Attendance at the pre-ride safety briefing is required to participate in the ride.
- If you have tested positive for COVID or have been exposed to someone with COVID, follow the quarantine and isolation guidelines. In general, if you have COVID or are displaying COVID symptoms, or if you are sick with the flu or a cold, you should not participate in group rides.
- Carry a face covering in case a business or public transit requires their use.
- Please, no spitting or “snot-rockets” while participating.
- A CPSC certified helmet is required to be worn to participate.

Mostly road but some dirt trails thrown in for fun. Off road sections include Ravenna, Husky Stadium, Magnuson Park, Matthews Beach, Carkeek Park, Golden Gardens. This ride has some non technical off road sections. Tires of 25mm or wider should suffice. If there are too many people on an off road section we will change the route for safety. When we do the trail sections we will slow to a pace that is safe when encountering pedestrians. The forecast is for rain. Be able to fix any mechanicals and have the tools and supplies to do so. See the link and download the route ahead of time in case we get separated. Expect your bike to get dirty.

Bonus wind not stopping us
The ride is still on. We also get some bonus wind as well. At least it is fairly warm. Bring food and water as well. Bathroom breaks if necessary at Magnuson Park and Carkeek. This is going to be awesome!

I would like to do this ride when the humidity is lower.
