Mentored ride for Hyung Marc Lim.
It's the New Year and a happy New You. Start the new year with a ride over the newly opened 520 bridge Trail. This one starts from the Renton Memorial Stadium; we head to Seattle on the traditional Seward Park route using scenic Lk Washington Blvd. After crossing the lake, it's on into Medina, Bellevue and the east side of the lake as we return to Renton. This route has nice combinations of flat plus hills.
Fenders with buddy flap required if rain is in the forecast.
New Riders: Welcome - review link below. Riders should be able to maintain the pace and know how to change a flat tire (and carry the equipment to do so).
Cue sheet: Print a cue sheet from the Ride With GPS Route link below.
Regroup: We will regroup at the top of hills. Mechanicals will not stop the group. Have an alternate plan if you cannot finish the ride.
Cancellation Policy: In the event of a weather cancellation, it will be posted 2 hours prior to the start in the comments section on Cascade and the Ride Leader will not be at the start.
Must be able to maintain 15 mph on the flat road, we regroup on the top of hills.
Restroom stop will be noted in the comment section two days prior to the ride start (route is not finalized)
