A mostly rural figure-8 ramble. We start with a warm-up southbound on the Sammamish River Trail, then climb up and over Hollywood Hill to Paradise Lake, Maltby, Monroe, and Snohomish. Return via Broadway, Maltby, and Bostian Road. Please be ready to ride by 8:45 AM so we can have the safety talk and leave on time.
No formal lunch stop, so carry road food to eat during the bathroom/water pause in Monroe. Bring tools and knowledge to repair flats, and a cell phone and plan for rescue should you have a serious mechanical failure. If roads are wet, bare tires are a safety issue so come with real fenders and a long mudflap in back. Restrooms and water at the start, and along the way at Lewis Street Park/Mile 27.3; Snohomish/Mlle 36.2; and Maltby Community Park/Mile 43.9.
A Ride With GPS route map with cue sheet is at the link. If you want a cue sheet, please print and bring it.
Please RSVP by clicking on the red Register Now button at the top of this page, checking the waiver release box, and clicking on Save. By doing this you will save time at the ride start. Note that this on-line RSVP requires a Cascade Bicycle Club account, which is easy to set up, but if you don't want one just come anyway and sign the hard-copy attendance/hold harmless sheet.
The listed phone number won't be answered on the morning of the ride. If weather conditions meet the Showers Cancel criteria, I will post a ride-cancelled notice in Comments, below, two hours prior and not go to the start. Ice or snow also cancel. Please check here before leaving for the ride.

Rain all day--ride cancelled
Our hopes are dashed. It's raining now along our route, and the wet will continue. No ride today. Regrets.
