Chang. of reservation. I will not be on the ride Monday.
Have a great ride, and thank you for posting this ride.
Okay, change of plans, I will make the ride, after all.
thnx
I have signed up. It will just be me.
It will just be me coming.
Just wanted to
Just wanted to give you a weather update, as it is going to be a little unseasonably warm. Our start in Glacier is forecasting temperatures in the mid 70s at the start and 90 when we finish (high of 92 degrees predicted for the day).
The Mount Baker summit for us has a predicted high of 61 degrees. The winds are predicted to be light 4-7 mph, so more good news.
As Wayne mentioned, everyone should plan to come with 3 water bottles (even if carrying one in your jersey. Also, although the forecast looks tremendous, we will be in the mountains and everyone should be prepared for dramatic changes.
So please be sure to pack a light jacket and maybe long finger gloves for the descent. (I usually pack an extra jersey to change into on the descent, as the one I wear going up the mountain is usually soaked with perspiration when I get to the top and thus cold on the way down if there is bad weather.)
Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow. Please be sure to come early enough so we can all start at 9:30.
