Monday Outdoor Riding in the Evening- Volunteer Park, Laurelhurst and Hawthorne (Leisurely)
Event has already happened.

... of 10 spots remaining
Monday Outdoor Riding in the Evening has added a new pace! We are so pleased to offer the Leisurely pace (10-12 mph) to our riders and increase their riding options. We currently post Steady (12-14 mph) and Moderate (14-16 mph) paced rides. We are all ready to lead you through some new and interesting areas plus revisit some favorites.
Let's meet at Lower Woodland Park between the ballfields and near the porta-potties. Be there, ready to go at 5:50 pm. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. All riders must attend the safety briefing to participate.
Riders are encouraged to push as hard or as easy as they wish on the inclines and we will always regroup at the top and/or bottom of hills. One of the unique features of being able to offer three paces is that riders are encouraged to try the different paces and determine which one suits them the best. Riders can also note their changes as they move to different levels. Our goal is to have fun, get some training in and be social. Did I mention have fun?
Porta-potties are available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Other things to bring: phone; ID; cash and/or credit card; ORCA card; water and a small snack. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will cancel the ride and all registered riders will be sent a notification email. If the ride is cancelled at least two hours before the start, Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location. Please check before leaving for the ride.
Hope to ride with you soon!
