AGREEMENT TO OFFICIAL SWEEPSTAKES RULES
By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by the terms and conditions (“Terms”) set forth in these Official Sweepstakes Rules (“Rules”), which are final and binding in all matters relating to this sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”). Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Sponsor reserves the right to interpret and apply these Rules and Terms in its sole discretion, and to modify or terminate the Sweepstakes at any time.
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY; A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and D.C. who are eighteen (18) years of age (except in the case of residents of jurisdictions where the legal age of majority is greater than eighteen (18) years, such legal age of majority) or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors (including immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and members of the same household, whether or not related) of Alaska Airlines, Inc. (“Sponsor”), and Cascade Bicycle Club (“Cascade”), and each of their respective parents, affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies, and any other companies associated with the Sweepstakes are not eligible to participate or win a Prize (defined below). The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, territory, and local laws, rules, and regulations. THE SWEEPSTAKES IS VOID OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES, AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
HOW TO ENTER: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on July 13, 2024, and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024 (the “Entry Period”). Limit one (1) entry per person, regardless of method of entry. Additional entries beyond the specified limit will be void.

To enter via this method you must have a valid public (i.e., not protected) Instagram account. During the Entry Period, you must post a picture during the Seattle to Portland event on Instagram with the hashtag #MILESFORMILES and tag @cascadebicycleclub (“Entry POST”). Your Entry POST must remain publicly posted through the Drawing Date (as set forth below) and must comply with the Content Restrictions (as set forth below) and Instagram’s Terms of Service and Instagram Rules and Policies available at https://help.instagram.com/478745558852511/?helpref=hc_fnav
All information submitted via the Instagram platform is subject to and will be treated in a manner consistent with, Instagram’s Privacy Policy accessible at https://privacycenter.instagram.com/policy, and Instagram Terms of Service and Instagram Rules and Policies. If you do not have an Instagram account, you may register for one, for free, at Instagram.com. Data and usage rates may apply to the download and use of the Instagram mobile application. The time of receipt of any Instagram entry shall be the time such entry is made available to the Sponsor via the Instagram platform. The sponsor's computer shall be the official clock of the Sweepstakes. Any entries that do not comply with the Content Restrictions or otherwise with these Official Rules and any that are removed or hidden before the Drawing Date are void.
Alternate method of entry: send an email to info@cascade.org with the subject line ALASKA AIRLINES Miles For Miles Sweepstakes, and include your name, and address, during the Sweepstakes Period. Limit one email entry per person.
The Sponsor is not responsible for late, misdirected, or delayed entries. No mechanical reproductions or facsimiles of entries are allowed. All entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
RANDOM DRAWINGS: On or about Friday, July 19, 2024 (“Drawing Date”), the potential winner will be selected by random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules, the potential winner will be declared the official winner of the Sweepstakes (“Winner”) The decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding on all matters relating to these Sweepstakes. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Limit one (1) prize per person.
PRIZES: A total of one (1) Prize:
One (1) Prize: For the final Drawing Date, one (1) Winner will receive 100,000 Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan™ Miles (the “Prize”). All Miles will be credited to the Winner’s Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan™ account upon acceptance of the Prize.
The approximate retail value of the prize is one thousand dollars ($1,000).
The winner is subject to all terms and conditions of the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan. The winner must have or obtain an Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan number as a condition of accepting the Prize; if the Winner declines to obtain a Mileage Plan number to accept the Prize, an alternate winner will be selected among eligible entries. If a winner is not an Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan account member, they may join at no cost online at https://www.alaskaair.com/account/join-mileage-plan.
Mileage Plan™ miles are valid for flights served by Alaska Airlines, Horizon Airlines, and/or applicable Skywest Airlines flights along with eligible Oneworld Alliance partners. Mileage Plan™ miles cannot be earned or credited. First Class paid upgrades or mileage plan upgrades are allowed. Connections are also allowed (subject to fare rules). Individual travel taxes may apply. Once ticketed, fare rules apply regarding changes to the itinerary. Each user of awarded miles must possess all necessary documentation required for air travel (e.g., a valid, government-issued driver’s license, U.S. passport, etc.). Dates of travel when using the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan™ miles are subject to availability and mileage requirements for specific destinations. Miles do not expire.

Dates of travel when using the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan™ miles are subject to availability and mileage requirements for specific destinations; all other details of use of the mileage portion of the prize are subject to Alaska Airlines’ sole discretion.
The winner is solely responsible for reporting and payment of any federal, state, local, and municipal taxes on the prize. The prize is non-assignable and non-transferable. The prize has no cash value; no prize substitution or cash redemption is allowed by the winner. Winner agrees that such winner’s prize and/or prize components awarded are personal to such winner and may not be sold, resold, auctioned, bartered, assigned, exchanged, placed in commerce, transferred, given away, donated, or otherwise conveyed. LIMIT OF ONE PRIZE PER PERSON OR HOUSEHOLD.
PRIZE CONDITIONS: All Prize details shall be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor. The Winner is fully responsible for any applicable federal, state, territory, and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes). All costs and expenses associated with the Prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, including expenses incurred by accepting the Prize are the sole responsibility of the Winner. The Prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable, with no cash redemptions except at the Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any Prize (or any portion thereof) with a prize of comparable or greater value at its sole and absolute discretion. Any resale, commercial or promotional use may result in disqualification and Prize forfeiture. The Prize is subject to all terms and conditions of the Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan™. The Prize winner must have or obtain an Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan™ number as a condition of accepting the Prize; if the Prize winner declines to obtain a Mileage Plan number to accept the Prize, an alternate winner will be selected among eligible entries.
TRANSPORTATION AND LODGING NOT INCLUDED. Prizes may not be resold or offered for resale or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such resale or commercial or promotional use may result in disqualification and Prize forfeiture.
NOTIFICATION: The potential Winner will be notified at the email address provided at the time of entry or from which entry was submitted, or via Instagram direct message in the case of entries received through Instagram, as applicable (the "Prize Notification"). In the event that any potential winner does not respond to any such Prize Notification within two (2) days of the date of issuance, declines the Prize for any reason, a disqualification will result, the Prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion and time permitting, an alternate potential winner may be randomly selected from among all remaining eligible entries received as of the applicable Drawing Date Deadline. The potential winner may be required to submit his/her valid social security number (Tax ID #) and/or other identification to Sponsor and may be required to execute, have notarized and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability and, unless prohibited by law, Publicity, within five (5) days of the date of issuance. Failure to submit any identification required by Sponsor or to return the required documents within the specified time period, noncompliance with these Official Rules or the return of the Prize (or any portion thereof) or Prize Notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and Prize forfeiture and, at Sponsor’s sole discretion and time permitting, may cause an alternate potential winner to be randomly selected from among all remaining eligible entries received as of the applicable Drawing Date Deadline.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The winner acknowledges and agrees that the winner’s and guest’s names, voices, and likenesses, may be published by Sponsor and its designees, licensees or affiliates, which will not be required to pay any additional consideration or seek any additional approval from winner or guest in connection with such use.
Certain restrictions may apply.
Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual deemed to be (a) tampering or attempting to enter a website; or (b) acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, Cascade and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, sales representatives, advertising and promotional agencies (the “Released Parties”) from any causes of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any Prize, including, but not limited to: (a) any technical errors that may prevent an entrant from submitting an entry; (b) unauthorized human intervention in the Sweepstakes; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, postage-due, misdirected, or undeliverable mail; (e) errors, technical or otherwise, in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (f) injury, death, or damages (including punitive, consequential, direct or indirect) to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from an entrant’s: (i) acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or prize component; (ii) participation in this Sweepstakes or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity; or (iii) failure to comply with these Rules. Released Parties assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries.

Notice to individuals; removal from mailing list: Any individual (or other duly authorized person) may elect to exclude the name and address of that individual from all lists used by Sponsor related to the Sweepstakes. To elect to omit all such lists, submit a removal request in writing to: Alaska Airlines P.O. Box 68900, Seattle, Washington 98158. This notification system may be used to prohibit mailing of all Sweepstakes by Sponsor to such individuals.
Dispute Resolution: Except where prohibited, you agree that any disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any Prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the State of Washington;. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Rules, your rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Washington or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Washington.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel these Sweepstakes at any time in Sponsor’s sole discretion.
