CTS 2024 Yellow #5: Redmond - Snohomish
Event has already happened.
This is ride number 5 for the CTS Yellow pace. This a ride that breaks out of the suburbs into some stunning rural scenery. The middle section of the ride features quiet farm roads and views across the Snoqualmie Valley. The ride has fairly moderate elevation profiles with climbing phases in the first half as well as the second half of the ride. This ride will also be our first for a full lunch break at the Haggen store in Snohomish.
- There are no restrooms at the ride start but we will stop about 1.5 miles in at Perrigo Park to use their facilities.
- You will hardly notice the climbing as we see some amazing houses riding thru Tuscany!
- Starting at mile 12.4 we have a beautiful 2 mile decent! Be careful on the way down as much of the way there is no bike lane or shoulder.
- After the long down hill and riding in the valley for a little while we cross the Snoqualmie River bridge which is a traditional CTS group picture spot.
- At the end of riding through Monroe we have a restroom stop at Lake Tye Park.
- We continue riding on scenic rural roads into Snohomish where we have a full lunch break at Haggen grocery.
- After lunch we head up out of the valley into Maltby for our next rest stop at mile 43.
- From there it is rolling hills and the gradual downhill back to Perrigo Park for a final rest stop before heading back to the Bear Creek ride start.
