Auburn to Tukwila

Join us for a 29 mile flat ride from Auburn to Tukwila.

We will meet at the south end of the Walmart parking lot located at the Outlet Mall.  We will take the Interurban and Green River Trails to and from Tukwila, and we will limit our speed on any multi-use trails to the legal maximum (usually 15mph).  At mile 17 we will take a short break at 3 Friends Fishing Hole Park then return.  A GPS route map and cue sheet are at Link below.

Please be ready to ride at 9:00 AM when we will do the safety briefing and get on the road.  IMPORTANT TO NOTE:  If you are not present and ready when we start the safety briefing, you will not be allowed to participate.

Restrooms are available at the start in Walmart and at 3 Friends Fishing Hole Park, mile 17.

Bring ID, equipment and skills to fix flats, a phone, and a plan for rescue if your bike fails. If roads are wet, rooster tails from bare tires are a safety and comfort issue for other riders. Unless the geometry of your bike won't allow, fenders with long mudflaps are strongly recommended.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
