Hills of the West Coast - Carnation + Zoo

Let's meet at Sam Smith Park and please be ready to ride at 8:30am. I’ll start with a required safety briefing, and we’ll roll out when that's done. We'll pick up riders at Enatai Beach Park (under east end of I-90 east channel bridge) at 9:00, then pick up riders at Tibbetts Park in Issaquah at 9:30.  

We'll head out to the Carnation Valley via Issaquah-Fall City Rd, Duthie Hill, Hwy 202, Ames Lk Rd, and Carnation Farms. After a stop in Carnation, we’ll head back thru the valley, and then back on Issaquah Fall City Rd to West Lk Sammamish and back on Newport. Zoo Hill will be our last climb, with the Montreaux descent as the reward.

There will be a brief food stop at the store in Carnation. However please bring plenty of nutrition and two water bottles for such a long hilly ride.

If weather meets the cancellation conditions noted above, or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, I will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and not go to the start location.
