Best Side Cycling: Bainbridge Island Loop from Seattle Ferry Terminal!

Join us for a ride around Bainbridge Island from the Seattle Ferry Terminal on a 32.2 mile route at a Brisk Pace (16-18 mph on the flats)!

If you missed out on the Chilly Hilly ride like I did this year, then this is the ride for you! We're going to be following most of the route around the island: featuring some good views, hills and food at the end.

We're going to be meeting at the Ferry Terminal at 10:20am after the toll booth where bicycles gather to board the ferry. Please allocate time to both buy your ticket and make sure you get to the correct spot. We will be boarding the 10:40am ferry and will be doing the briefing officially on the crossing over so we'll be ready to go from the ferry. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup after any taller climb.

Restrooms are available at the start and on the ferry. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at miles 16 at Battle Point Park. The ride will formally end near Bainbridge Downtown and people will be free to take whichever ferry they'd like to go back. Most likely, I'd be organizing lunch plans for those that wish to stay longer but that is totally optional :)

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
