Bainbridge Island to Seattle Arboretum

Join us for a beautiful spring ride from Bainbridge Island Senior Center to the Seattle Arboretum.  We will explore a loop in the arboretum and have a picnic. Bring lunch and money for the ferry. Pace is leisurely at 10-12 miles per hour. If the group likes,  we will stop at Starbucks in Leschi on the way back. 

Let's meet at the Bainbridge Island Senior Center at 9:50 for our pre-ride safety briefing. We will ride down to the ferry to catch the 10:25 sailing  

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together.  We will wait for everyone at the top of a hill.

Restrooms available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water at the Arboretum, our half way point.

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
