**CANCELLED** FRUMPS 1 Day Before Christmas Eve Ride

Join us for a ride from Tibbetts Valley Park in Issaquah on a 42 mile route at a Steady pace of 12-14 MPH.

2 days before Christmas! Join me for a relatively flat 42 mile ride that will include Lake Sammamish and the Sammamish River Trail up to Woodinville. Mostly rolling hills along Lake Sammamish, and flat along the Sammamish River Trail. Just enough miles to not feel so guilty about all those holiday treats. Prepare for Cold Weather conditions, but will cancel if icy or snowy conditions appear imminent. 

Let's meet at the Tibbets Valley Park in Issaquah, near the Softball Fields and plan to be ready to ride at 10:00 a.m.. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done.  If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to regroup frequently.  We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).

Restrooms are NOT available at the start, however there is a Portapotty near the skatepark. We will stop along the way for restrooms at Marymoor Park - Twice at Miles 12 and 30, and at Wilmot Gateway Park in Woodinville at mile 22.  We’ll also stop for coffee and nutrition at the Sidekick Cafe in Woodinville at mile 22.4. 

Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
