Orchard Loop - Ellensburg

Join us for a ride starting in Ellensburg and heading on a loop through farmlands and orchards for a 22-mile route at a Moderate pace. (14-16mph)

Let's meet outside the ReCycle Shop and please be ready to ride at 1:00pm. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's completed. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.

The terrain is mostly flat with a few hills that we'll climb at our own pace.  Our goal will be to stay together, regrouping after the few hills and at critical turns.

Restrooms are available in town but not along the route.

Free parking is available on Water Street by Fred Meyer, one block west of Main Street. Look for the free parking signs.

Please bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat. Carry enough nutrition and water for the duration of the ride (We will be out in the country). In addition, please have full fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.

Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
