Free Group Ride
Wednesday Pie Ride
Event has already happened.
Join us for a ride from Wayne Park Bothell on a 17 mile route at steady pace of 12-14 MPH!
We start out riding southeast on Woodinville roads to the PSE Trail returning on the Sammamish River Trail to the Northshore Senior Center for a pie break. Bring cash or credit card to pay for pie, ice cream and/or coffee at a reasonable price. We will break for 30-60 minutes.
Let's meet at the Wayne Park Bothell and please be ready to ride at 10 AM. We will start with a required safety briefing, and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing you will not be able to ride with the group.
We will climb and descend hills at our own pace, and our goal will be to stay together. We'll also limit our speed on any multi-use paths to the legal maximum (usually 15 MPH).
A portable toilet is available at the start. We will stop along the way for restrooms/water in a 1/4 mile at Blyth Park. We’ll also stop for pie/coffee/ice cream at the Northshore Senior Center at mile 16.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please carry a full water bottle and snacks with you. Helmets are required.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancellation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
