TREATS: Kirkland – Lake Hills – Issaquah – Redmond
Ride Contact
Event has already happened.
Join us for a 34.8-mile social ride starting in Kirkland, riding up the 520 Trail to and through the Microsoft campus and Lake Hills, then to Issaquah and up the east side of beautiful Lake Sammamish to Redmond for an approximately 30-minute lunch at Blazing Bagels. The return will be through the Rose Hill area.
Parking is limited at Heritage Park but there is ample room on Waverly Way adjacent to the park. There are no facilities at the start, but we’ll stop at Kirkland’s Marina Park (Mile 0.3) for water and bathrooms. Restrooms will also be available at Mile 15. Lunch will be at Mile 26.5.
There are hills, but we will climb them at a steady pace with a regroup at the top.
Meet at Heritage Park and please be ready to ride at 10:00am. We will start with a required safety briefing and roll out when that's done. If you miss the briefing, you may not be able to ride with the group.
Bring a spare tube and tools to fix a flat, just in case. Please have fenders if the roads are wet, or you may be asked to ride at the rear of the group.
Note: If weather conditions meet the weather cancelation criterion listed above or if there are unforeseen hazardous riding conditions or other unexpected events, the Ride Leader will post a ride-canceled note in the Comments section below at least two hours prior to the start and Ride Leader(s) will not be at the start location.
We hope you can join us!
